The current war situation and oil crisis has impacted directly on milk prices due to inflation,transportation costs, and other effects associated to the increase of the oil price; so we need your donations, together with others coming from other donors, in order to buy milk for the needest including also milk products for children and specially for infants.
We are gathering requests from our food banks network in order to issue a purchase order to buy milk (regular, infant and follow-on) that will be distributed among the people in need. This purchase will be partially supported by the donations received through Golbal Giving.
In parallel ont the last weekend of May we will set up our new Spring campaing to collect food from donors in the supermakets, this year again with special focus on milk and oil, two main staple items whose prices are, as I said before, are going to be directly impacted in their prices due to the current situation. Thousands of anonymous volunteers will participate in this food collection, we expect that its going to be a true success
