Summary

Mabinty is an orphan due to Ebola and resides in the Dream Home orphanage. This past summer Mabinty took her National Primary School Examination and has just started Junior Secondary School. Mabinty would like to be an accountant when she grows up so that she can help improve the country's economy. This project will provide a full scholarship for Mabinty covering her tuition, books, school supplies and related school expenses this year.

Challenge

Families with limited funds to educate their children ofthe send their boys to school, and many girls who start school drop out. Two out of three of the 110 million children who do not attend school are girls, and girls grow up to make two thirds of the world's 875 million illiterate adults. In Mabinty's case, she is an orphan and therefore has no financial support. This project will provide a full scholarship for Mabinty covering her tuition, books, school supplies for a year.
