Dear Donor,
Because of your generosity, vulnerable families in Karu, Nasarawa State, Nigeria, were able to experience Ramadan and Eid with dignity, hope, and joy. Through this completed humanitarian intervention, Empower Future Initiative (EFI) successfully provided emergency food support, iftar assistance, zakat support, and Eid relief materials to struggling households affected by poverty and economic hardship.
During the outreach, dozens of vulnerable women, widows, children, and low-income households gathered in New Karu to receive relief support carefully organized by EFI and community volunteers to Muslim faithfuls. Families received staple food items including bags of rice, millets, and additional household support designed to ease the burden of fasting and Eid celebrations.
One beneficiary shared emotionally:
“This support came at the right time for my family. We had almost nothing prepared for Ramadan and Eid. Now, my children will eat and celebrate with joy.”
The project was fully funded and successfully executed. Distribution activities were carried out transparently and peacefully with community leaders and volunteers present to ensure accountability and fairness throughout the process.
Impact Achieved
