Our goal is to raise 200k USD to purchase two accessible buses for the transportation of para-athletes in Egypt. Every para-athlete's journey begins with a dream. They aspire to achieve greatness in their respective sports, inspiring us all with their determination and passion. However, for many para-athletes in Egypt, there is a significant obstacle in their path: accessible transportation. To empower these athletes and enable them to chase their dreams, we need to get these buses ASAP!
Para-athletes face unique challenges in their journey, one of the most critical being the lack of accessible transportation. Traditional buses are not equipped to accommodate wheelchairs or provide the necessary support for para-athletes, making it incredibly challenging for them to access training facilities, competitions, and other essential events. This lack of accessible transportation not only restricts their mobility but also hinders their ability to excel in their chosen sports.
Our solution is simple yet impactful: Acquire two accessible buses specifically designed to meet the unique transportation needs of para-athletes. This accessible bus will have the following features: a wheelchair lift - secure seating - storage for equipment and additional accessibility features to ensure the comfort and safety of para-athletes. Each bus will serve 7 wheelers and 5 abled passengers. This bus will be used to regularly transport athletes from and to their training locations.
