Purchase Accessible Bus for Egypt's Para-Athletes!

Dear Alhassan Foundation’s donors, believers and supporters

Our project “Purchase Accessible Bus for Egypt's Para-Athletes” is one of our core projects under the accessibility for all program that offers wheelchair users the suitable solution for one of the most impairing challenges that face wheelchair users. Accessibility for people with physical disability is a human right to live their life and pursue their hobbies and interests just like their abled peers and maintain their physical and mental health.

We're currently working on raising donations for that cause in order to utilize these donations to purchase two accessible buses to provide a decent transportation for our community:

1- Support our Para athletes to have accessible transportation from and to their training facilities.

2- Provide transportation and accommodation for the majority of the foundation's staff who are wheelchair users.

The Accessible bus played a vital role in supporting our players during the training camp for the U23 Africa Wheelchair Basketball Championship. It ensured their safe and comfortable daily transportation to training venues, allowing them to focus entirely on their technical and physical preparation.

This logistical support was not just about mobility—it lifted the players’ morale and gave them the best possible conditions to prepare, which directly contributed to achieving a historic accomplishment: securing 3rd place across the continent."
