Purchase Accessible Bus for Egypt's Para-Athletes!

Dear Alhassan Foundation’s donors, believers and supporters

Our project “Purchase Accessible Bus for Egypt's Para-Athletes” is one of our core projects under the accessibility for all program that offers wheelchair users the suitable solution for one of the most impairing challenges that face wheelchair users. Accessibility for people with physical disability is a human right to live their life and pursue their hobbies and interests just like their abled peers and maintain their physical and mental health.

We're currently working on raising donations for that cause in order to utilize these donations to purchase two accessible buses to provide a decent transportation for our community:

1- Support our Para athletes to have accessible transportation from and to their training facilities.

2- Provide transportation and accommodation for the majority of the foundation's staff who are wheelchair users.

3- Rent for Paralympic committee and disability clubs in Egypt as an income generating activity for the foundation's programs.

We want to thank you dear donor for your donation and support which enable us to continue our mission and be the stepping stone for wheelers to reach their dreams and goals.

We at AlHassan Foundation are very happy to share with you our great success story regarding sports for people who use wheelchairs in Egypt.

We are certain that without AlHassan Foundation’s accessible transportation for people with disabilities, it would have been impossible to achieve any of these achievements.

Here are some pictures that show the ease of transfer of the players of AlHassan Foundation Paralympic team to the tournaments.

Therefore, AlHassan Foundation is currently working on providing a second accessible bus to transport the players of AlHassan Sports Academy teams.

And also to raise community awareness of the importance of having accessible means of transportation for all the wheelchair users in Egypt.
