Purchase Accessible Bus for Egypt's Para-Athletes!

Dear Alhassan Foundation’s donors, believers and supporters

Our project “Purchase Accessible Bus for Egypt's Para-Athletes” is one of our core projects under the accessibility for all program that offers wheelchair users the suitable solution for one of the most impairing challenges that face wheelchair users. Accessibility for people with physical disability is a human right to live their life and pursue their hobbies and interests just like their abled peers and maintain their physical and mental health.

We're currently working on raising donations for that cause in order to utilize these donations to purchase two accessible buses to provide a decent transportation for our community:

1- Support our Para athletes to have accessible transportation from and to their training facilities.

2- Provide transportation and accommodation for the majority of the foundation's staff who are wheelchair users.

We want to thank you dear donor for your donation and support which enable us to continue our mission and be the stepping stone for wheelers to reach their dreams and goals.

Today we are gladly to share with you photos from the last participation of the wheelchair table tennis team in Egyptian Table Tennis Championship in Alexandria.

We would like to point out that without Alhassan FDN accessible bus, it would have been impossible for our team to participate in such tournaments.

Moreover at AlHassan Paralympic Academy, there are many other sports teams, and therefore we are in dire need of having another accessible bus to transport our wheelchair users sport teams to participate in various tournaments in all governorates of Egypt.

And also to raise community awareness of the importance of having accessible means of transportation for all the wheelchair users in Egypt.
