Plant a Tree Plant a HOPE...

By Team | RSKS India

Dear Patron !

Rural remote villages were facing the issue of lack of greenery and sources of livelihood. Due to low income, the villagers could not afford to plant trees on their own, which further led to environmental degradation and lack of healthy food. Also, the extreme weather conditions in these areas made it difficult for the villagers to sustain crops and other vegetation. They have to fight their daily life in order to survive and they get involved in doing anything for thgeir livelihood when they do not have much money.

To address the issue, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) organized a Shady & Fruitful Trees Distribution Program at 4 different rural remote villages of Ajmer. Through this program, RSKS India provided more than 150 fruitful and shady trees to 20 rural families. The trees were 7ft tall and included varieties of fruit trees like Mango, Guava, Amla, and Jamun. The program aimed to improve the environmental conditions of the villages by promoting greenery, creating a source of livelihood for the villagers, and providing them with healthy and fresh fruits.

The Shady & Fruitful Trees Distribution Program had a significant impact on the lives of the rural families. The trees provided shade and shelter from the extreme weather conditions in the area, which also helped in soil conservation and water retention. The fruit trees provided a source of healthy food for the families and helped in improving their nutrition. The program also created employment opportunities for the villagers, as they could sell the fruits in the market and generate additional income. The program was also successful in creating awareness about the importance of greenery and environmental conservation among the villagers. RSKS India's program helped in improving the standard of living of the rural families and promoted sustainable development in the area.
