Dear Patron Namaste!
A Warm Greeting from RSKS India.......
In the rural landscapes of Rajasthan, marginalized families grapple with the dual challenge of limited livelihood opportunities and nutritional deficiencies. Rural and marginalized families, residing in different rural villages, face a stark reality where access to nutritious food is a constant struggle, exacerbating the cycle of poverty. Moreover, the absence of viable livelihood options leaves them trapped in a cycle of financial instability. Recognizing the pressing need for intervention, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan identified the urgent problem of inadequate livelihoods and nutrition among 50 marginalized families in these rural communities.
To address the complex challenges faced by marginalized families in the rural villages of Rajasthan, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan initiated the "Plant Grafted Fruit Trees For Marginalized Families Program." This comprehensive program aimed to uplift the livelihoods and nutritional status of 50 marginalized families by providing them with a sustainable source of income and diverse, nutritious food options. The program involved the distribution of 350 fruitful trees, which included include lemon, mango, pomegranate, guava, myrobalan, chikoo, and jamun. The variety was chosen strategically to ensure a diverse and nutrient-rich harvest throughout the year. In addition to the fruit trees, the 50 families received 100 KG of organic manure. This not only enriched the soil for optimal tree growth but also emphasized the importance of eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural practices.
The "Plant Grafted Fruit Trees For Marginalized Families Program" implemented by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has yielded transformative impacts on both the economic stability and nutritional well-being of 50 marginalized families across different rural villages. The distribution of 350 fruitful trees has not only diversified the families' sources of income but has also provided a consistent supply of nutritious fruits. This, in turn, contributes to improved health outcomes, especially for vulnerable members such as children and the elderly. Moreover, the distribution of 100 KG of organic manure has promoted sustainable farming practices, enriching the soil and fostering environmentally friendly agricultural approaches. The program's success is evident in the positive feedback from the selected families, highlighting a sense of empowerment and optimism for the future.
