Dear Friend, Namaste!
Warm Greetings from RSKS India Family!!
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan celebrated World Environment Day by organizing a "World Environment Day Celebration with Awareness Workshop on Adopt A Tree Program". The program involved 75 rural girl children and focused on fostering awareness about environmental conservation and encouraging tree plantation. The event started with an awareness workshop, where the RSKS team explained the importance of trees in combating climate change, improving air quality, and sustaining biodiversity. The girls were also educated about how planting and nurturing trees can contribute to a greener and healthier environment.
Following the workshop, the participants conducted a public rally in their village to spread the message of environmental conservation. Holding banners and chanting slogans, they highlighted the urgent need to plant and protect trees. This rally reached many villagers, encouraging them to contribute to the cause. After the rally, the girls participated in a tree-planting activity in their school premises and nearby areas. They planted a variety of saplings and pledged to care for them regularly. RSKS team also distributed snacks to all the children as a token of appreciation for their active participation and enthusiasm.
