RSKS India carried out the "Adopt A Tree: Protect Environment & Earth" Program at a school in Khedakarm Soutan, emphasizing environmental protection and community responsibility. Under this program, the RSKS team, together with school children and teachers, planted 60 fruitful and shady trees within the school campus. These trees, chosen for their long-term ecological benefits, aim to provide shade, improve air quality, and produce fruits for the community. To ensure the sustainable growth of these trees, the RSKS team organized an interactive workshop for the students. The session highlighted the significance of trees in mitigating climate change, conserving biodiversity, and enhancing the quality of life. Students were taught essential tree care practices such as regular watering, soil management, and protection techniques to ensure the survival of the plants.
As a unique feature of this program, a metal tree installation was set up in the school premises. This structure symbolizes RSKS India's unwavering commitment to promoting a greener world and serves as an enduring reminder of the importance of environmental conservation. Following the workshop, the students and teachers participated in a spirited public rally throughout their village. Carrying banners and chanting slogans, they spread awareness about the importance of trees and inspired the community to adopt sustainable practices.
