Small Actions Reviving Nature and Hope.....

By Dr Deepak Sharma | CEO

Dear Patron, Namaste!

At RSKS India, we capture real-life grassroots stories of courage and transformation made possible by your support, bringing hope, dignity, and brighter futures to life.

My name is Durga (Name Changed), and as the Incharge of the Laado Resource Center, I have always believed that a healthy environment is deeply connected to a happy community. Over the years, I noticed something missing the cheerful chirping of sparrows that once filled our surroundings had slowly faded. The silence felt heavy, as if a part of nature had quietly disappeared from our lives.

Everything changed when Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan introduced the initiative of installing sparrow houses and feeders in our community. At first, it seemed like a small step, but it carried a powerful purpose to bring back the lost connection between people and nature. We carefully placed birdhouses, filled grain feeders, and ensured clean water was always available.

In the beginning, days passed without any sign of sparrows. Yet, we remained hopeful and consistent. Slowly, one morning, I noticed a tiny sparrow sitting near the feeder. That moment filled my heart with joy. Soon, more sparrows began to return, and the silent spaces started coming alive again with their sweet chirping.

This initiative not only revived the presence of sparrows but also brought awareness among community members, especially children. They now actively participate in refilling feeders and protecting birds, learning the importance of caring for nature.

Today, every morning at the center begins with the soothing sound of sparrows. It brings peace, positivity, and a sense of harmony. I am truly grateful to Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan for reminding us that even the smallest efforts like a birdhouse and a handful of grains can bring life, hope, and happiness back to our environment.

With heartfelt gratitude and warm regards,
