We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
Trees, directly or indirectly, give us life. They keep our environment clean & green and secured. "Save Trees, Save Life" is just not a slogan, actually it is a responsibility of ours to understand the importance of the environment. Trees are the symbol of life on the earth, but the number of trees getting reduces rapidly as the result of deforestation due to urbanization, industrialization and global warming. The reduction in the number of trees arises many sort of problems. Therefore, it is mandatory for us to understand the importance of our environment and be aware.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organized a plantation program for the conservation of the environmeent. We planted 6 Fruitful and shaddy trees in the village Kanwlai, in Pisangan. The trees were planted in the courtyard of girls school, kindergarden, etc. Our activists organised workshop on the occasion. Men, women and children participated enthusiastically in the workshop, and our activists make them aware of the importance of the environment. The villagers contributed in the plantation with excitement. In the girls school, students and the school staff also contributed in the plantation. Tree guards were placed to keep the plants secured. All the villagers took oath to look after the planted trees and take responsibility to manage water-manure for the plants.
Our activist had a conversation with the representative of the village Kanwlai. He told that human beings and animals are affected from the reduction of forest area in the village and the monsoon is also affected. Now, the region has been declared dark zone. He thanked GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan as the plantation was the most required activity in the region.
