Dear donors,
We hope find you well!
Here we are again bringing the news of the project supported by you!
Project volunteers are meeting weekly with their mentees, and the activities are varied! In the beginning, the conviviality was restricted to the shelter, place more known for the children and adolescents. During this period, many games, conversations, artistic and sports activities were rolled out. Mentor and mentees watched movies together, made videos, invented dance choreographies, built toys, did research and school work together. So they got to know each other more and more, understanding the tastes, qualities and what was common among them!
As of October, the walks began to happen, gradually with the children and adolescents ( mentees). Initially, in the surrounds of the house: walking in the neighborhood, taking a juice in the bakery, spending an afternoon in the public square, joining the child on the way to school or shopping at the fair. Little by little, the tours will extend to more distant places. Everyone has high expectations to enjoy the holidays together, but before this, the mentors are also getting more involved with the school issues of the child or adolescent, helping organize the material, doing activities related to the content that is being worked on in the various subjects, and intending attend the end of year meetings!
Our best,
Instituto Fazendo História Team
