AIL’s Emergency Aid program helped needy people recently, by providing 1,200 pieces of bread to feed 600 people. This food makes all the difference to people who are struggling to find enough money to buy food for their families during the harsh winter months.
One woman said, " I am a 30-year old widow with four children who are hungry and cold this winter. I am a cleaner and wash clothes for neighboring rich people. My family lives in a rental house but I cannot pay to heat our rooms with the money I get. I was so afraid and concerned at the beginning of the winter, but AIL helped me with foodstuffs. I received rice, oil, beans, tomato paste and lentils which saved my children in the cold weather. I am waiting for more help in the rest of winter. I thank AIL for saving my family.”
AIL keeps funds on hand to help with needs as they arise and to be ready for any disaster or other emergency situation.
Thank you for your support.
