Food Aid helps the Poor

By Elizabeth Appleyard | Program Officer

Our most recent distribution of food aid was to 120 families who needed assistance to provide for their families. The usual food stuffs given out to the needy are oil, beans, rice, bread and meat.

People are always very grateful for this food aid. The staff at AIL’s offices are aware of local needs and know who will benefit most from aid. Families with small children or elderly can be the most vulnerable in times of hardship and the boost the food aid gives makes a huge difference.

Thank you for your support.

AIL is working towards: SDG Goal 4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
