Many greetings to you and your loved ones from the BASS elderly care program, India
Thank you so much for your kind support in this project to give care and daily meals to 80 vulnerable elderly people in two locations in Guntur district, India.
The daily meal canters for the vulnerable elderly are smoothly operating at Dasaripalem and Pallekona villages. Each Centre 40 elderly are attending daily to have meals and staying in the Centre until evening and interacting with other elderly in the Centre. They have a good opportunity to come to the Centre every day, before they are not having sufficient meals at their homes and no one cares for them even their family members or neighbors.
Most of the elderly people have improved their health conditions and psychologically by mingling with others. The cook cum care takers preparing the daily mid day lunch with best nutrients, and all the registered elderly are visiting the Centre at 11.30.A,M They will have lunch at 12.30 P.M and will stay in the Centre resting.
we have constructed a open shed for the Centre and build benches and tables.
This project is very success and seeing the happy faces of the elderly people in the Centre. Their worries are forgetting and will having good time here. Our volunteers and centre staff are also supplying daily food to the sick elderly and other elderly who are not able walk.
This daily meal canters must needed to continue to support the neglected elderly.
This project is not getting enough donations, needed at least $500 per a month to provide best meal for 40 elderly people.
