Thank you, to all our donors, supporters and well-wishers for your continuous support in our effort to provide a clean solar light alternative in place of kerosene lamps for the rural people of Nepal.
In past months, we had received requests to support for the installation of community charging centre in two areas; Chitwan and Solukhumbu. Hence, we had made a technical and design evaluation of our previous community charging centre installed in two areas through interviews and telephone inquiry. With the feedback received from the community, a new model of community charging centre has been designed, which is easy to use for the rural people in terms of technical and is much cost effective than previous community charging system.
Similarly, Mr. Charturbhuj (a youth returned from Arabian country, searching opportunity to work in our own country) has been trained in assembling the solar system. He has been exploring the opportunity to create the market of solar in western region of Nepal. An initial investment to support him for the promotion of solar systems in western region has been made.
Request for the installation of community charging centre at various rural areas are in consideration and evaluation to provide maximum benefit to the rural people of Nepal.
