The floods in Sana’a have brought immense hardship, but your swift and selfless contributions have allowed us to provide critical, life-saving aid where it is needed most. Over the past fortnight, Yemen has experienced unprecedented heavy rainfall, resulting in widespread damage and disproportionately affecting the nation’s most vulnerable populations.

In response to this crisis in Sana'a, our dedicated team has mobilized rapidly to alleviate suffering and preserve human dignity. To address the urgent needs of those most severely impacted, we have successfully implemented the following critical relief initiatives:

• Delivering life-saving humanitarian aid to families in immediate distress.
• Supplying essential food baskets to combat hunger and ensure food security.
• Providing emergency shelter kits to restore safety and offer secure living conditions.

The challenges facing Yemen have reached a critical tipping point. Beyond the decade of conflict and economic instability, the recent catastrophic floods have stripped away the little security families had left. As Fatima, a mother of four whose home was partially destroyed, shared: "We thought we had survived the worst of the years, but the water took what the war couldn't. Now, for the first time in weeks, because of this aid, my children are sleeping under a dry roof."
