Family Compass - Impoverished Families Empowerment

This back-to-school season, we stood beside the families in our ANASA Program, not only to help with food supplies, rent bills, and daily essentials, but also to make sure their children could return to school with confidence and dignity.

Thanks to your support, we were able to provide:

• School bags, notebooks, and stationery

• Hygiene products and basic personal care items

• Emotional support through our Social Service team

For a single parent juggling multiple jobs or a family facing ongoing hardship, this support meant much more than material goods, it meant relief, reassurance, and the comfort of knowing they’re not alone.

For the children, it meant showing up at school feeling equal to their classmates, ready to learn, dream, and grow, without the weight of shame or fear.

Each school bag we handed out was more than just supplies, it was a symbol of care, opportunity, and a fresh start.

Thanks to your support, our Social Service was able to distribute 400 nutritious food packages to families/individuals across the main regions of Athens, Thessaly, Patra, and  Salamina, with the help of our Mobile Support Units. This vital assistance was particularly crucial during the period leading up to the Easter Holiday, a time when many families face increased financial strain.

The provision of food supplies goes beyond mere sustenance; it offers a foundation of stability and hope for those facing tough circumstances. 

Your commitment has enabled us to not only meet basic needs but also to allow beneficiaries to redirect their limited resources towards other critical necessities.
