Animal care on wheel summary of July 2019
Last month in July, heat of summer, is almost ended. And rainy season started. So trend of illness or sickness, will change somewhat in other direction.
We have been receiving calls of many stray animals, met with an accidents. And suffering from various types of another illness, and trend of illness, are getting less.
Our team of Vets has started necessary treatment and care of patients as per requirement of case.
Below is a summary of what our Animal Mobile Clinics did in the month of July 2019.
Total new cases treated: 684
Total follow up cases : 837
Total cases closed (treatment completed): 387
Total cases admitted in our hospital: 38
Our three vans did a total of 1521 visits as below:
Van A1: 584
Van A2: 476
Van A3: 461
The treatments of 684 animals are as below:
Dogs: -590
Cats: -85
Cows: 07
Camel: 01
Monkey: 01

Last month in April, heat of summer, is almost started. Parvo cases are been reduced. Now,
We have been receiving calls of many stray animals suffering from various types of another illness, and trend of illness in last month was of coughing , mouth ulcer and Canine distemper was major. The patient with the coughing as well as mouth ulcer, got recovery well. And patient with the canine distemper (CD), has shown poor prognosis as it is viral and many times it is fetal if it is in last stage.
Our team of Vets has started necessary treatment and care of patients as per requirement of case.
Below is a summary of what our Animal Mobile Clinics did in the month of April 2019.
Total new cases treated: 675
Total follow up cases: 1048
Total cases closed (treatment completed): 438
Total cases admitted in our hospital: 41
Our three vans did a total of 1723 visits as below:

We have been receiving calls of many stray animals suffering from various types of another illness, especially of Maggots wound in Dogs. Whenever the stray animal got open wound, many time there are chances of getting maggots in it, if properly not treated or not taken care.
Maggots is caused by a female fly, usually a blowfly, laying eggs in a festering wound, on areas of the skin that are consistently damp, or on areas of skin that are soiled by urine or feces. ... Persistent skin infections or allergies can also increase the risk of maggot infestation
