Given the pandemic that we are currently experiencing we are turning to online theater. CIARTES Y SI produces artistic activities for peace, creating multicultural awareness, urban harmony, responsible citizenship with children, youth and the vulnerable populations (street situation, prison and reintegration) as well as preparation of young actors to generate proactivity, resilience and positive social transformations in their communities, cultivating the differences that enrich.
In terms of art, we have identified two problems, the first is that artists from rural communities have very few opportunities to be heard, grow and develop professionally, and the second is that children, youth and the vulnerable populations (prison and reintegration) of the State of Hidalgo, have none access to recreational activities under cultural themes with the pandemic that we are living today.
We seek to support artists who come from rural communities by offering them a space where they can express their own artistic productions, in addition to giving workshops and dissemination, and we carry out art presentations for peace, currently online transmissions given the pandemic, directed to children, youth and the vulnerable populations (prison and reintegration) of the State of Hidalgo, breaking the monotony and generating strength within. Art improves peace conditions in society.
This project will allow the professional development of at least 12 young artists who live in rural State of Hidalgo, in addition transmit virtually given the pandemic we live today, cultural and educational activities to a total of 5000 children, youth and people belonging to the vulnerable populations (prison and reintegration), creating a regenerative effect and contributing to their social rehabilitation through virtual theater.
