Assistive devices for visually challenged people

The drive has helped provide assistive devices to numerous Visually Challenged students over the years, rising close to $1,771 since its inception, thanks to generous individuals and residents on behalf of them. Technology and philanthropy joined hands here. Through this, we can make them to get their own memory cards and headphones. Now our children are capable of working with laptops with the help of talk-back softwares. They can now search and get knowledge of everything through web surfing. Once again, we want to thank the philanthropist for their contributions and also the GlobalGiving who paved the way for us to utilize their donations from all over the world. We look forward to raising more for this cause. As always, we, along with GlobalGiving, will do our best in reaching out to generous donors across the Globe and will strive to bring happiness on the face of each of our beneficiaries.

Help visually challenged with assistive devices

Indian Association for the Blind (lAB), based in South India is a well-known non-profit organization working to provide education, employment, training and rehabilitation for the visually challenged from rural areas. Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah, the visually challenged activist and a group of like-minded visually challenged people founded IAB in 1985. Since its inception, IAB has educated and rehabilitated more than 19420 visually challenged children and youths mainly from rural areas.
The drive has helped provide assistive devices to numerous Visually Challenged students over the years, rising close to $1,771 since its inception, thanks to generous individuals and residents on behalf of them. Help visually challenged with assistive devices

IAB believes that technology can empower people with visual disability to live dependently and confidently. With this vision, we create awareness, work towards advocacy, and provide accessibility solutions to assist people with disabilities in using technology. Those assistive devices help the student to become more effective and reliable.
This will change their discomfort level to their comfort level. This will bring more enthusiastic in their day to day life and bring more energy in them. Truthfully, we could not do this without you GlobalGiving! We at IAB very happy to share you that we benefited $1731.
