Under the empowering children through audiovisual tools, Imkaan Welfare Organization is in the process of finalizing collaboration with Coded-Minds. Coded Minds is a global iSTEAM & leadership education technology company who is closing the education-skills gap by reverse engineering courses with a practical, hands-on problem-solving and project-based curriculum.
In collaboration with coded minds, Imkaan will be implementing the You Can Code (name still to be decided) project that will allow children from ages 6 to 15 to partake in a two-month-long coding camp. This project as a test run will involve 100 children to participate.
The beneficiaries of the project are children from Khel who are in Class 1 and Class 3 while the rest will be recruited through youth managers from the community who do not have any other opportunity to learn and grow.
We will be monitoring the project in lieu with coded minds and will update our donors as soon as we make headways.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
