Dear Friends

Happy New Year 2022.

Thank you very much your kind support and partnership to operate worksites school for the Seasonal migrated child labour families from Odisha to work in 12 brick industries at Choutuppal areas, Telangana.

We are so sad to submit that this project could not get any donations for a long time.

The setting up worksite school and the two instructors are working here continuously even though during the break period from August to December 2021.

Again for 2022 a new batch of seasonal migrated families arrived from the first week of December.

We have started the 6th Batch worksite school 2022 from the second week of December 2021. At present 20 children came and are expecting more families to come back to work on a seasonal basis in January 2022.

Every year at least 200 families migrate from Odisha state to come to work in brick kilns at Choutuppal Brick industries. Even covid broke also in 2021, these families stayed here and stuck and after covid lockdown revoke they went back to their native places.

Now we are startis the new batch to the children of the migrated families in their mother tongue language. 40 children will get benefits through this worksite school for about a 6 months period from December to June 2022.

Two instructors Kanthamma and Chandra Kala provide vocational skills training in candle making, dress making, phenol, pickles, pain balms and other handicrafts along with life skills and socialization.

We are also continuously distributing covid relief essential food and hygiene kits to the migrated families continuously.

urgently we need to pay the two instructors’ honorarium and classroom rents continuously throughout the year.

We humbly requesting to kindly support this project with monthly donations to continue to operate and eradicate child labour in the brick industries at Choutuppal areas.
