Dear Friend
Greetings from BASS Worksite School for seasonal migrated child labour in brick industries, Choutuppal, India.
The 6th Batch worksite school 2022 has been successfully completed by 30th June 2022.
Total 40 children aged between 9 to 18 years old attended the centre and learned formal primary education and vocational skills training.
This centre is operating every six month from December to June as the season for the brick works, so this year also 200 families arrived to work in brick industries from Odhisha state on a seasonal basis.
Still some families staying at the brick industries to work and other are already left to their home state villages in odisha
Again these families will come back in December 2022 to work in the brick kilns. This is like a rotation of come and go for the works. Children are suffering a lot since they do not know the local languages telugu and hindi and are also working along with their parents.
No single donation has been received to this project since November 2021.
Please support again to start the 7th batch of worksite school from January 2023
Thank you
Sincerely with gratitude
