Giving Hope to Survivors of Benue Violence

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear friend,

We are thankful for the donations received so far. Although the funds are not yet enough to begin relocation, your support and concern have given strength to the survivors who have already lost so much. These 98 individuals witnessed unimaginable violence during the June 2025 Benue massacre, and many are still living in temporary shelters with no means to rebuild their lives.

Some lost entire families, homes, and livelihoods. The trauma of what they experienced runs deep, and the continued insecurity in their villages makes it unsafe for them to return. Relocation to safer areas is the only way they can begin to recover, find work, and start anew.

Our team has identified safe communities where they can settle, and we are preparing logistics for movement once enough funds are raised. Each contribution helps us move closer to giving these survivors a chance at peace, dignity, and stability.

Your continued kindness means more than words can express.

With heartfelt thanks,
Ugbede Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
