Hello, dear Baba supporter!
Joining briefly for a blitz invitation (attached in the letter) - in case the occasions of your daily life bring you to Sofia this coming Friday and weekend, please feel welcome to our 2-day forum Right to culture / Pravo na kultura in the Regional center for contemporary art Toplocentrala!
We start at 11 am on Friday (24th) and finish around 8 pm on Saturday (25th).
It will be a welcoming time and space to talk about and look at the state of, strategies for, and ways of funding access to and participation in culture in our country.
According to data from the national Ideas Factory research, within the framework of the Right to Culture Lab funded by the National Fund for Culture, 89% of Bulgarians do not participate in any form of amateur arts activities, and over 60% did not attend a theatre, exhibition, museum or even a concert in 2022.
What can we do about it?
We'd be glad to meet you there for the discussions and workshop and
also for the pilot party at Toplocentrala's bar at 8 pm on 24th!
