BOTTLE CAPS TO HELP DISABLES IN ARMENIA
Develop Armenia Socio-educational NGO joined the GlobalGiving platform in June 2023. Within the sphere of its objective since then till today, it has collected more than 2000kg’s of bottle caps.
With the start of the new school year, we visited about ten educational institutions which means about 1500 students. We conducted sessions about the environmental danger of plastic caps. We met with environmental groups in these institutions and had interesting discussions with the students.
We mentioned to them the importance of joining the "Caps for Help” project emphasizing the fact that they are the pioneers for the environmental sustainability of Armenia.
Five new companies and institutions joined our initiative. In one of the institutions where caps are collected, we have donated a special wheelchair for a 7-year-old boy to facilitate his school attendance. This was a good way to show the students the big impact of their simple work.
