BOTTLE CAPS TO HELP THE DISABLED IN ARMENIA

In our second report of the year, we will give you a brief update on the process of our project. Since December we collected more than 650 kg of bottle caps which means 650 kg fewer bottle leads in nature.

Through the donations, one college, three new educational institutions, and a kindergarten joined our project. This means 4000 new students were exposed to this project.  We were able to provide all those institutions with plastic boxes to collect caps. In addition, four other food stores joined us.

We conducted ten sessions in 10 different schools about the importance of collecting the bottle caps, the environmental danger behind them, and the impact of doing such a great job with simple action.

We provided Arsen from a small village called Gaghtrashen in Ararat Marz with a wheelchair from the revenue of the bottle Caps collected. Ten years ago, Arsen fell from a high place while working in construction and injured his spinal cord. This has resulted in him being forced to serve in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
