Seedling knowledge to Visually challenged students

lndian Association for the Blind (lAB) is a renowned non-profit organization based in South India. We work to provide good quality education, employment, training and rehabilitation facilities for visually challenged children and youths from rural areas. It was established in 1985 by visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people. Till date, IAB has benefited more than 11200 youths. They now hold prestigious positions in society.
Thank you for your interest for Seedling Braille Books for our Children. Every 10 dollar we receive will make another braille book for students. The total raised amount is $1353. This sum help us to subsidize the high costs books at feasible cost, keeping books affordable for student will contribute the braille literacy.
We would like to give you an assurance that your donation for providing Braille books will be carefully and properly administered. The uphill struggle that your gift represents will be matched with our own dedication to help our kids, and thanks to our combined efforts, many blind children will be blessed with books to read! We deeply appreciate your willingness to share the gift of literacy with these precious children! This will eventually increase the interest towards studies owning individual copies of their text books and provides them an opportunity of studying at their own pace.

Braille books for visually challenged students

We work to provide good quality education, employment, training and rehabilitation facilities for visually challenged children and youths from rural areas. It was established in 1985 by visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people. Till date, IAB has benefited more than 11200 youths. They now hold prestigious positions in society.
Thanks to the support from GlobalGiving, we have received donations from 20 philanthropists till date for this project. The total raised amounts to $1264. This sum has really helped us move closer to the dreams and desires of our students in owning individual copies of good quality Braille text books.
These donations will be really useful for helping our students have a memorable educational experience and for guiding them in the right way of approaching the study material. Our students are very happy about the materials provided to them by way of these donations. Their interest towards studies has certainly increased. Owning individual copies of their text books helps in increasing their interest towards studies and provides them the opportunity of studying at their own pace. It helps reduce time constraints.

Braille books for 4000 visually challenged kids

We, lndian Association for the Blind (lAB), are based in South India and are a well-known non-profit organization working to provide education, employment, training and rehabilitation for the visually challenged from rural areas. It was established in 1985 by visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people. Till date, more than 11200 youths have been benefited by us and now hold prestigious positions in society.
Thanks to GlobalGiving, we have received donations from 16 philanthropists till date. Totally, this project has raised $1209. This huge sum has been highly beneficial for us in moving closer to our dreams and for our children, in moving closer to their dreams of having good quality educational materials.
These donations will be really useful for helping our students have a memorable educational experience and for guiding them in the right way of approcahing the study material. Our student D. Vetrivel Murugan remarks, "Till my 5th grade, I used to ask someone else to read to me and I always needed someone to guide me. After coming here, I have become very independent and can now read Braille comfortably thanks to the coaching and the material given at IAB."
