They are Sandra Fari and Angelica, they are sisters a now they are our new team
Sandra was our first teacher at the beginning of pintado when we were a nursery in 2003, Angelica was one of our first beneficiaries in 2004
Today their kids are beneficiaries in Pintando, Valeri and Felipe are Angelica kids, Daniel is Fari son, and in the middle is Maria the niece of all them and also come to Pintado
For us work with them is pride, because we can see the impact of pintado in the lives of the kids
On the photo you can see on the top row is Sandra on the left, Fari in the middle and Angelica on the right

BE BELIEVE IN DREAMS

In pintando we believe in dreams, we believe that our kids will been able to accomplish their dreams with effort, talent and discipline! One perfect example about this is “Mathew”
Mathew is a 13 years old boy, whom dreams to be a professional football player, someday in pintando we meet a guy who is the brother of the owner of a very good soccer school in Argentina and in Colombia, “Lanus Soccer School”, they gave us one scholarship for one of our kids, since Mathew is not only a good soccer player but also has good note and very good attitude, we decide to give him that opportunity
Mathew’s father is also the taxi driver that help us with all the transportation issues, so both of us, pintando and Mathew’s family decide to support him.
He accepts the deal an become one of the best of the school, so he was invited to travel to Orlando Florida (USA) to compete in a football event there
The family have to sell 50 tickets for a contest to found the money for the trip, an pintando also help him to accomplish this goal.
At this moment Mathew is in Orlando, he went to the magic kingdom and now he’s playing in the contest; He also know that effort discipline, God and good luck can bring you to your dreams
This lovely story couldn’t have been told without your support

Volunteering is a great experience

She’s Larissa Safar, no one remembers her last name but all the kids remember her big smile. Whithin Pintando Larissa was a very good volunteer, she inspires our team an also the kids to be more friendly, more proactive. She was always doing something and helping the kids!!!
The day she left it was a mix of emotions, kids already knew that she must leave on august, because she was a volunteer just for six months, but they want her to stay more.
She is an adventure girl, she was traveling around South America for the last year an after Colombia she was traveling to Peru for 3 months.Larissa came from Switzerland, speaks three languages and is 22, she left in our heart a big paw print.
So, if you are reading this letter, and have a little inclination to be a volunteer, bear in mind that you’re welcome in Pintando Caminos, serving kids its a powerful and transformative experience.
Do not hasitate to serve others is a importan decision for you and for others.
