They are Jeison and Carol they have been in Pintando for the last 5 years.
Carol has 12 years and Jeison 11, they live with their grandparents, who love them a lot, their mother works at night so she can't take care of them.
Jeison and Carol are very good at school always have well done and most of the time they get the first places
For the last 2 years, they have been involved in Pintando Caminos as volunteers with some chores. They help other kids with their homework and keep the place organized. Sometimes we support them with food and clothes, and they are also part of our activities (teamwork).
When they grow up Jeison want to be a football player and Carol want to be a doctor , we are sure they are going to accomplish that goal
As always thanks for you donations

These two rooms are empty for the last years, on the other side we have 230 kids asking for quotas in Pintando, so for this year, our new project is finding new sponsors at least to allow the entry of 70 additional children to Pintando.
To accomplish this goal we planning to sale craft made by the kids, a bazaar on the middle of may and a cabaret night on june.
We hope we can raise all the money we need, so for the second semester of the year we can have new kids on Pintando, today we have 110 kids during the week, 45 in the morning and 65 in the afternoon.
We invite you to support our new kids

Pintando beyond borders
By Alexandra Tamara | Director

This is Charlene boettcher, is 19 years old, she is from Germany and she lives in Cologne. For 4 months she has been in Bogota as a volunteer in Pintando Caminos.
Charlene speaks english and german, and came to Bogota to learn Spanish and serve the community
With her we have understood the language of love, because in spite of not speaking Spanish she has managed to establish a great relationship with children.
Today we wanted to talk about her, because it has been a testimony for children,of how you can serve others away from home, spend a good time in another country, and learn another language.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a super 2019
Thanks for your support during 2018
