Leadership School Graduation
By Alexandra Tamara | Director
![]()
During the last year several children from Pintando Caminos (around 20) participated in the leadership program that we developed together with the University of Javeriana, the idea is that children and adolescents learn to recognize their value, their talents and abilities and their importance within their environment. We worked for several Saturdays, children played, jumped, laughed and learned, it was months of effort, early mornings and sharing.
Finally they finished their process and graduated, they did it in an auditorium in the javeriana university as they deserved it after their effort, for us was really exciting and proud.
Every day there are results that we can see, the effort, dedication and patience has paid off and many lessons learned ... AS ALWAYS THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US

Pintando Camino's 15th anniversary
By Alexandra Tamara | Director
![]()
On December 16, we celebrated Pintando Camino’s the 15th anniversary, it was a wonderful meeting surrounded by love and many surprises.
More than 250 people attended, including friends, children benefiting from the foundation and their families. The children danced and sang making the celebration even more special.
One of the most emotional moments was when the big girls, between 18 and 23 years of age, shared their experience where through the support and love they were given in the foundation during their childhood they have had achievements and advances in their lives. Several of them have already finished their technical and professional careers and others are in the process of achieving their dreams.
Dreaming and allowing others to fulfill their dreams is the greatest reason why Pintando Caminos exists and will exist.
Thanks for your support
we wish you a wonderful 2018

![marcela and mamu]()
marcela and mamu
She`s Marcela, Gineth’s (Mamu) mother; she will obtain her Bachelor`s deegree on Education on October 28th this year.
She joined Pintando Caminos without completing 5th grade, thanks to the supporting and motivational environment provided by our organization she may fulfil her dream to become a teacher.
The best and swetest part of this story is that she didnt believe she had what it takes and be able to acomplish something such as that, howver, today she inspires other women from the area and within her family, of which she is the first to graduate in many genarations.
Currently Marcela volunteers during the afternoon at Pintando Caminos, supporting and working whith children who are not able to read and write properly, which she does as means to pay it forward and give something back.
Thanks to You and the many people which during have believed in Pintando Caminos for the past 15 years , we may share love stories such as Marcela’s.
As always THANK YOU
