Thanks to your generous support through GlobalGiving, we were able to provide a shopping voucher to the family of the orphaned brothers, Saad and Muath, in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. This assistance enabled the family to purchase the essential items they needed most, according to their own priorities, during the ongoing humanitarian and economic crisis affecting families across the Gaza Strip.

We accompanied the two boys as they redeemed the voucher at a local store, where they were able to select food supplies and other daily necessities for their family. This experience had a meaningful emotional impact, allowing them to participate in choosing what their household needed and restoring a sense of dignity and normalcy during an incredibly difficult time.

Since losing their father, Saad and Muath's family has faced immense hardship and struggles every day to meet even the most basic needs. The shopping voucher helped ease some of this burden and gave the family greater flexibility to purchase the items that mattered most.
