We want to thank you for your generosity that has allowed us to support over 45 disadvantaged children and youths in Crete, Greece in receiving an education.
As, in Europe, the Covid-19 pandemic seems to be behind us, we believe the children who are now back in school have a less urgent need to be supported by this project which will be discontinued.
Please don't stop helping children in need through GlobalGiving, and please consider donating to Send a Child in Aleppo to School for a Year. Illiteracy affects more than 50% of the Syrian population because millions of children and young adults have not been able to go to school during over a decade of war, sanctions, pandemic, and the recent earthquake. Good quality education is the only path to peace.
With you, we want to reach out to thousands of children and their families to make a difference in their future opportunities. We remain focused on assisting families in giving a better life to their children. You are making a positive difference, one person at a time, whether in Greece, Turkey, fractured Syria or elsewhere.
With gratitude from all of us
