SCHOOL BUILDING
A lot has happened on our construction site since April!
In our existing classrooms, the electrical wiring has been installed, outlets and light switches have been mounted, and the screed has been poured. The door frames are already in place and just waiting for the doors to be installed to complete the rooms.
In addition, the second phase of construction has begun, and a major milestone has been reached: the ceiling of the second main building has finally been poured! Now, the concrete needs a few weeks to dry, but even now, the ceiling gives the building a completely new look.
At the same time, the first batch of our furniture has arrived, including desks and chairs for the teachers. We are excited to soon move into the building and finally enjoy both the new furniture and the rooms, which are really starting to take shape!
SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
On August 1, 2024, after successfully completing the third term, we held our first official graduation ceremony.
Our Kindergarten 2 students have moved up to first grade, the third graders have transitioned from Lower Primary to Upper Primary, and our sixth graders can call themselves our first group of Junior High School students after the holidays!
The day was a special event for all of us—students, parents, and teachers. In the weeks leading up to it, the children diligently practiced their performances: The choir had its first appearance on a real stage, three different traditional cultural dances were performed, and our youngest students recited poems.
We will always remember this first graduation fondly. We were able to wrap up the school year on a high note, and we are already looking forward to starting the regular school routine again in September.
We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all our supporters, who not only make progress on the construction site possible but also indirectly help us organize such special events for our beneficiaries!
