Build an Orphans-Only School in Ogodo, Nigeria

Dear Donors,

We are seeking support for the Build an Orphans-Only School project. At this time, no donations have been received. Without funding, construction and planning activities cannot begin.

In Ogodo, many orphaned children are currently out of school. After losing their parents, some now live with relatives who struggle to provide daily meals, shelter, and basic care. Paying school fees is often beyond reach. As a result, a number of these children remain at home, engage in street trading, or roam the community without structured learning. Without access to education, their future opportunities become limited.

This project aims to establish a dedicated school designed to serve orphaned children. The plan includes ten classrooms, a dormitory for those without stable housing, a dining area, a small health post, and a playground. The school will provide primary and junior secondary education in a structured and secure environment.

In addition to tuition-free learning, the school will supply uniforms, textbooks, writing materials, and daily meals. Teachers will receive guidance on supporting children who have experienced grief and hardship, helping them adjust academically and emotionally. The goal is to create a setting where children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.

Each year, the school is expected to serve up to 500 orphaned children. Access to consistent education can reduce exposure to child labor, early marriage, and street begging. With literacy and practical skills, these children can grow into self-reliant adults who contribute positively to their community.

At present, no funds have been raised, and this vision remains on hold. We kindly ask for your support to help us begin building a school that will offer orphaned children a stable place to learn and rebuild their lives.
