Love for reading

This story tells the life of a girl who came to reside with her family to the El Pital community, they came from a town where there was no library, and the girl always dreamed of reading books and telling stories.

The first thing the girl did when she arrived in her new community was to visit the library, and she felt so attracted to her, that she did not want to leave even for a moment. Despite not being able to "read and write" upon arrival, she chose books with large images and wrote with her imagination her stories guided by the drawings of the book and gave her interpretations of her reading. He developed a lot of imagination and creativity that inspired big boys to use this same technique of reading and writing.

Almost two years have passed since that day when she arrived at the library, and nowadays the girl reads as many books as she can. He does not miss a day of programming, and he managed to fulfill his dream: read many books and tell other stories. Take advantage of any moment to read your stories to anyone who approaches her. And it is through reading that he develops his ability to read and write, his creativity and imagination, his leadership.

This little girl, despite her young age, directs young children, tells them her story, tells them that dreams come true when you run after them.

This project achieves fantastic results, and every time the children fall in love with the habit of reading, it shows them the magic of the books and the greatness that is in them.

Just like the girl in this story, there are many children who want to have a book in their hands and fall in love with reading. The program works to be able to offer all these opportunities, and to use reading as a playful teaching-learning mechanism. Surely the dream of these children will come true, because thanks to the collaboration of the donors who support this initiative, it will continue to grow and transform lives.
