Respect for children is synonymous with freedom...

By Denis Espinal | Director Ejecutivo

Respect for children is synonymous with freedom...

More people are becoming literate, greater leadership has been developed in children, adolescents and young people. However, it is important to guarantee that their rights are respected, that they feel in safe places of participation. For this, the Un Mundo organization has promoted and created a Municipal School Safeguard Policy of La Ceiba, which is in each educational center for its application, ensuring that children know it, and that they know their rights, because When they are informed, they can be better equipped to protect themselves, as well as identify the different situations that violate their well-being. Ignorance of rights puts boys and girls at greater risk of suffering abuse, discrimination and exploitation.

This literacy program has had a positive impact, creating reading habits in the beneficiaries, leadership with social-environmental awareness, and above all, being agents of change for their own communities.

To continue growing coverage and impact, we need to continue having your support and collaboration, spreading the word to other people so that they are able to join this cause.

Thank you very much for being part of this initiative
