WALKING TOWARD SUCCESS
Testimony of a girl:
Despite being only 10 years old, I love reading. And it gives me so much satisfaction and happiness, that now I can express myself better, and have a better reading comprehension.
A few days ago, I competed in the First Regional Meeting of Children's Stories and obtained the first place in the category of adolescents, where children aged 10-14 from different educational centers participated. This award is the constancy and love for reading that I have cultivated for almost 3 years in the programming of the Library that drives the organization Un Mundo.
I am so happy to be a leader that helps other children to create the habit of reading, and especially to share my learning to others. This is just the beginning of many dreams that I make reality.
John Maxwell said: "Our candle is not extinguished by giving light to others"
I fell in love with this thought, which now I put at the service of others every learning acquired in the day to day of my reading or school hours.
I am sure that, if we continue to promote reading and education as a means of change, we will have achieved a significant change in the lives of others.
