This story tells the happiness and satisfaction of a teacher, who, thanks to playful programming and through reading aloud, has seen a significant improvement in her students' ability to read and write.
Formal education is linear, boring, it evaluates based on statistics, it is not interactive... but the programming that is promoted through the Literacy Connections program promoted by the organization Un Mundo, tells us that the best way to learn is to play. It works from a participatory approach, where the child can make mistakes without being questioned, and above all to enter the cycle of learning, unlearning, learning...
As a teacher it is satisfactory to learn different teaching and learning techniques, and that manages to capture the interest and motivation of the child in the classroom. This program is changing the way you see education and educate.
I am convinced that the improvement in the quality of education, and the results in children, are fantastic, because we are using art as education, from an imaginative and creative perspective.
However, none of these successes would be possible without the contribution of the people who join this cause. Let's keep making dreams come true for those with less possibilities.
