Thanks to your generous donations, the new playroom at the Rachel Corrie Center in Rafah, Gaza opened in September!
MECA's staff in Gaza, Dr. Mona El-Farra and Safaa El-Derawi, went to visit last week and snapped these wonderful photos of children in the playroom.
One staff member commented "This is not just about toys for kids. This is about the right for children to play and be in a safe space when so many other things in their life are not safe. When they hear a plane, they get very afraid because they think it is going to bomb them." Rachel Corrie Center Staff
