Work in progress!

Work in progress in Cittareale
Work in progress in Cittareale

The assembly work of the structure began on April 4, 2017, following the laying of reinforced concrete foundations.

On that date was held the ceremony of laying the first beam in the presence of children, their families and the Mayor of Cittareale, who said: "We are making a wonderful new canteen thanks to the support of Mission Bambini. These initiatives are the ones that give us strength and courage to move on. Children are the future of our territories and the school is the starting point for social rebuilding".

School children have made some drawings with the theme "The school I want" that were later put in a box and walled in the structure as a reminder and legacy for future generations.

At present, the structure is almost completed, only the interior and exterior finishes and the furnishing equipment have to be done.

The inauguration of the new canteen is scheduled for May 25, 2017.
