More Relief for the Rohingya Refugees Bangladesh

By Asif Jah | Project Leader

Respected Donors,

Seasons Greetings...!

The Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) has been actively involved in providing vital relief to the Rohingya Muslim refugees in Bangladesh. This mission, carried out in collaboration with local organizations, aims to alleviate the severe hardships faced by the refugees. With the support of these local partners, CHCS has successfully supplied essential food packages to the refugee camps.

Relief Efforts on the Ground

Recently, a dedicated team from CHCS in Pakistan traveled to Bangladesh to personally oversee the distribution of relief goods in the refugee camps. Working hand-in-hand with local Bangladeshi NGOs, the team ensured that the aid reached those in dire need. The relief packages distributed during this visit included:

**Dry Rations**: Food packets containing essential items to sustain the daily nutritional needs of the refugees.

**Medicines**: Vital medications to address common health issues and prevent the spread of diseases.

**Clothing**: Garments to provide warmth and protection against the elements, especially crucial for the most vulnerable populations, including children and the elderly.

**Toys for Children**: Items to bring joy and a sense of normalcy to the lives of young refugees who have experienced significant trauma.

Additionally, CHCS recognized the critical need for clean drinking water in the camps. To address this, the team installed several hand pumps at various locations within the camps. These pumps ensure a reliable source of safe drinking water, helping to prevent waterborne diseases and improve overall health conditions.

Ongoing Commitment and Gratitude

CHCS remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the Rohingya Muslims and plans to continue these relief efforts well into the future. The organization understands that sustained aid is necessary to make a lasting impact on the lives of the refugees.

The success of these initiatives has been made possible by the generous contributions of our donors. CHCS is profoundly grateful for their unwavering support, which has enabled a continuous supply of relief goods and services. The dedication and kindness of these donors are vital to the ongoing success of our mission.

Appeal for Continued Support

To expand and sustain these critical relief efforts, CHCS humbly appeals to donors from around the world for continued and increased support. Your generous donations are crucial for:

**Maintaining and Expanding Food Distribution**: Ensuring that every refugee receives adequate nutrition.

**Medical Supplies**: Providing essential health care services and medications to prevent and treat illnesses.

**Improving Living Conditions**: Supplying clothes, blankets, and other necessities to improve daily living standards.

**Water Infrastructure**: Installing more hand pumps and maintaining existing ones to guarantee access to clean water.

Conclusion

The Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is dedicated to minimizing the suffering of the Rohingya Muslims in the refugee camps of Bangladesh. With your continued support, we can bring hope and relief to those in desperate need. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant difference in the lives of the refugees. Together, we can ensure that they receive the care and support necessary to rebuild their lives and look towards a brighter future.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Your contributions are not just donations; they are lifelines that sustain and uplift the most vulnerable among us.

Regards, Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah
