Due to your generosity, farmworkers and their families are receiving care that might otherwise be out of reach. Your support is at the very heart of this work, and we are deeply grateful to have you as part of our community.
With your partnership, Colectivo CARE continues to grow stronger—both in our impact and in the systems that sustain our work. To ensure families can depend on consistent, accessible care, even as immigration policies shift and change, we have established new clinic systems that strengthen how we organize and deliver services. These improvements help us show up more reliably for the people who count on us.
Since December, these efforts have supported more than 600 treatments for the farmworker community. Treatments that are made possible by your commitment and care.
Farmworkers are essential to our food system, yet they face significant barriers to healthcare. They grow one-third of the nation’s vegetables, two-thirds of its fruits and nuts, and 90% of California’s strawberries. Between 33–50% of all U.S. farmworkers work in California. Their labor sustains us all, and supporting their health is both urgent and deeply deserved.
Even as immigration policies shift and clinic locations change, Colectivo CARE remains steadfast. Through flexible planning and strengthened clinic operations, we continue bringing care directly into the community creating spaces that are safe, welcoming, and responsive to families’ needs.
We are honored to stand with farmworker families, and just as honored to stand with you.
Thank you for all you do to make the world a more compassionate place!
