Dear donors,
We are reaching out for your support to launch the “Catch Them Young: Digitize Sex Education for Girls” project. No donations have been received yet, and your help is needed to give these girls access to critical knowledge that is often unavailable in schools or at home.
Many adolescent girls aged 10–16, especially in rural or low-income areas, lack safe, private, and reliable information about puberty, sexual health, consent, and personal safety. Without this guidance, girls often rely on unsafe sources or remain silent out of fear, leaving them vulnerable to abuse, early pregnancy, and misinformation.
This project will provide 150 girls with offline tablets preloaded with educational videos, audio guides in local languages, interactive quizzes, pictorial guides, and chatbots. The materials cover puberty, contraception, consent, safe touch, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, STIs, and gender-based violence. Tablets will be used in secure group sessions led by trained female facilitators, giving girls a private, respectful way to learn without needing internet access.
By equipping girls with knowledge and practical tools, the project will help them make informed decisions, protect their health, and avoid harm. The tablets can also be reused or shared with younger girls, extending the impact beyond the initial group. Over time, this effort can reduce early pregnancies, gender-based violence, and misinformation, while encouraging girls to stay in school and pursue their goals confidently.
Your support can help us start this vital project, providing these young girls with the education and protection they deserve. Every contribution brings us closer to safer, healthier, and better-informed communities.
Warm regards,
