Atlas Corps continues to empower social change leaders around the world through our remote, in-person, and hybrid professional development programs. Through these programs, we equip them with the tools and resources to lead change across a range of social issues that bring diversity and inclusion both globally and in their home countries.
Meet one of our Pakistani Scholars, Awaisha Inayat, a psychologist and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) practitioner who founded the mental health platform, Rahnuma. With this, she is making mental health services more accessible for Pakistanis, regardless of their social and economic situations. She shares on the platform’s impact, “The primary goal of Rahnuma is to break the stigma around mental health in Pakistan. Mental health is often misunderstood and overlooked, leading to many individuals suffering in silence…. I strive to make mental health services more accessible and convenient for individuals in Pakistan. Through Rahnuma’s online counseling and therapy services, people can seek help from the comfort of their homes, reducing barriers to entry that may have prevented them from seeking support in the past.”
Our capacity to engage with leaders like Awaisha is possible all thanks to you. Your support for our Fellowship and Virtual Leadership Institute inspires them to break down barriers in their local communities.
