It was a year ago that Chennai experienced devastating flooding which killed many and destroyed cars, homes and lives. Cyclone Vardha came through this year with a wider path of destruction but India had some warning and fewer lives have been lost. Much of the city lost power and telephone connections but we have not suffered so much as last year.
As much as possible life is back to normal and the Little Lamps home continues to serve people with mental and physical handicaps.
Thank you for your sincere concern for those who suffered and were in greatest need. Your gifts were of great help to these dear people. You have not only restored their facility from the damage but brought significant improvement which they will enjoy for years to come.
