Project Report | May 11, 2024
New opportunities for children!

By Marat Abdullaiev | Project Leader

Thanks to the support of the project, we can develop our Children's Center and add new services! We constantly assess the level of education of children who visit our center and undergo a preschool education program. Based on the results of testing before and after completing the preparatory course for school, 80 percent of children increased their educational level in the main disciplines of the primary school program with an excellent rating! And ready to enter the first grade of school! We also regularly conduct classes and master classes aimed at improving the emotional state, socialization, communication skills in a team and self-development.
Holidays for children - invited animators conduct entertaining activities with children and give them the opportunity to escape from the horrors of war. During the summer period we will hold additional outdoor events for children (zoo, parks, dolphinarium)
This month we started conducting mine safety classes for children, which is especially important at the moment.
Over the past two months, more than 35 children received individual consultations with a psychologist, which allowed them to stabilize their psychological state. We have also added two groups of children for English language classes! The summer holidays will begin soon and we are launching a program for children, adolescents and their families “Protection and psychosocial support.” As part of the program, meetings will be held dedicated to safety and support, understanding and managing emotions, healthy relationships, responding to violence and protecting against it, combating stress. Parents will improve their skills in protecting and supporting their children!
